K'NEX CHALLENGE

12 MAY 2017

Dumfries Academy recently hosted this year’s K'Nex Regional Final. STEM Ambassadors, Mark and Lee, provided support and advice for the young people who were given a brief to design a structure using k’nex. The Academy’s own cluster schools came out top. The winner with a total of 83 out of 100 was Kirkbean Primary School (Heather Teasdale and Owen Gibson). Second place with 82 out of 100 went to St Michael’s Primary School (Charlie Gibson and Fynn McGeorge)

The winning team will now go forward to the K’Nex Challenge Final on Tuesday, 13 June 2017 in Glasgow.
