Parent Council
The Parent Council has four main areas of responsibility:
• Supporting the school in its work with pupils.
• Representing the view of parents.
• Promoting contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the community.
• Reporting to the Parent Forum.
The Council has the right to ask for information/advice about matters which affect children’s education and to be involved in the recruitment and appointment of senior promoted staff.
Please remember that all parents/carers are members of the Parent Forum which selects the Parent Council. All members of the Parent Forum are welcome to attend Parent Council meetings which take place once a month. Dates of which are published on the school website calendar.
