Child Protection And Safeguarding Policy
At Dumfries Academy, child welfare, safety and protection is our number one priority. We firmly believe that every young person has the right to grow and develop in an environment at home and school which is safe and nurturing. We aim to develop young people who are confident, caring, healthy and understand a responsible moral compass.
To enable young people to fulfil their potential in school and wider life they must first and foremost be safe. To this end Dumfries and Galloway School Services School has a very clear policy on Child Protection and Safeguarding in order that we ensure that students are safe and healthy at all times.
